Rugged Industrial RFID Tags
Built to Withstand the Harshest Environments
Elecsys eXtremeTAG solutions advance radio frequency identification (RFID) technology far beyond conventional environmental limitations and into the extreme conditions found in harsh industrial and outdoor applications. Elecsys eXtremeTAGs are built to withstand the most extreme temperatures, pressures, chemicals, and vibrations imaginable.Â
;
The eXtremeTAG products, originally pioneered by a Swiss high technology firm financed by the Swiss government, were developed to track high-value assets under extreme environmental conditions. This patented technology can reliably read and write data through metal, allowing our RFID tags to be sealed inside metal parts. Available in packages from plastic to stainless steel, eXtremeTAGs can be hermetically sealed within metal parts such as heavy equipment, oil and gas infrastructure, weapons, surgical instruments, and similar devices that must withstand harsh conditions. With rewritable memory incorporated into each tag, Elecsys offers complete system solutions including rugged readers and a configurable software interface.
